Jim The hydraulic leak is coming from the shaft seals on the live hydraulic pump. To correct the leak, the distributer or magneto must be removed from the hydraulic pump. Mark all plugs wires on the caps, the cap and the respective spark plugs. If you do not turn the engine or the distributer shaft, installation is will be easy with respect to timing. If the engine or distributer is moved, you will have to line up the timing mark on #1 TDC and realign. Remove the hydraulic pump and plug the pressure and return lines. A post on this forum about 2 weeks ago said that they were able to purchase new shaft seals for the hydraulic pump at an industrial seal house or hydraulic supply company. The pump has to be completely disassembled to remove the seals. Mark all parts for easy installation. Usually the bearings in the pump are worn and shaft seals do not last. I hope that you have better luck than I have with older hydraulic pumps. Good luck Ray
