just wanted to thank everyone on the forum. Have been rebuilding my 300u for almost a year and every time I had a problem or question you guys were already discussing it. You are an amazing wealth of knowledge and I thank you all. Went through front to back and fixed anything I could find wrong and then painted any exposed metal. Not a true restoration but I now have a reliable tractor that isn"t such a joke to my green driving in-laws. thanks again- John
