I have just had my Farmall 504 gasser overhauled. The good news is the oil pressure is 50 psi. The bad news is the gasket that seals the oil filter housing blows out easily and throws oil all over. so far I have used the gaskets that came with the NAPA 1172 filter which is what they say is for the 504. Is there a trick to make this gasket seal? Is the gasket the IH dealer will sell me any different and better? Has anyone made their own gasket in this application? Thanks in advance.
