As I was cleaning off the grease on my Dad's Super C in preparation for a complete engine overhaul, I noticed that the block had a crack that had been repaired. The weld is about a foot long running horizontal about 3 inches below the head on the manifold side. I don't believe it ever leaked, but I am a little leary about sticking about doing a overhaul with that block. You guys have a lot more experience than I do and would appreciate your thoughts.
