Bill is correct. It is much easier to prime it through the filter element casing. In the GSS-1013 Engine Lubrication System Service Manual, page 3 shows the cut-away diagram of the galleys and where to prime. The instructions for priming are also there.
The Cub Manual Server should be back up later today. Some sort of problem that is being worked on. Then just have a look at it and you will see it clearly. It is right at the bottom of the casing at about 11oclock roughly.
