Hole In Exhaust

Recently noticed exhaust coming from the Manifold
on my "M". Felt it blowing, from low on manifold
below stack. Can feel the hole, seems ragged. I
assume it is a rusted thru spot. Is it better to
nickle weld or braze these? Any tricks or gremlins
to look out for here, or any "while we're at
it"'s? Opinions and suggestions welcome.
