I have a 1953 SM serial number L 505452 J. It is currently using a 12V battery. The starter is 3 bolt, and the generator is a Delco Remy number 1101355 1F18
Now, looking at pictures of some SMTA, and SWD6 pics, the genny looks the same, with the triagular bushing cap on the rear plate, with the oil cup.
I presume this is a 12v genny? Anyway to know for sure?
