When I let off the foot-n-inch, sometimes my Hydro 86 just drifts ahead (correct direction, sloww). If I depress and drop it quicker, she grabs and goes fine with consistent speed but all I'm doing is pulling a 500g sprayer. This happens maybe once every 6 rows, so it's not often. You guys helped me pinpoint the problem and I ordered the service manual and read everything I could. I'm hoping fouled or maladjusted foot-n-inch valve, but one of you guys figured fouled high pressure relief valve is also likely.
Is it worth trying the foot-n-inch re/re and am I right that it's a pretty big job to go do the high pressure relief valve?
Any other ideas on what I should try? I'll do the pressure and flow tests as soon as I find someone with the gear.
