Hi don't know anything about the gas engine. My brother has two a 454 and 495 Diesel models with D-179 German Diesel engine. Pros: Reliable, good hydraulics, very maneuverable 40 HP utility tractor. Cons: hydraulic brakes and parking brake. Check foot brakes for not being "spongy" and parking brake will hold on a slope. Hopefully it has an 1850 loader not a 2250. The 2250 model is to heavy for 454. Also check front axle and steering parts, tie rod ends etc. The straight front axle is better for loader than swept back axle. Will require fluid in rear tires or additional weight on rear for round bales over 1000 lbs.
