Does it have a mag or a distributor? I would clean the points with some 320 wet or dry until shiny. If you have a distributor you need battery voltage. With the points open & the ignition on you should have battery voltage on both small terminals on the coil. If it has a mag you should hear the impulse coupling snap. Hal
