I had been looking for a 300 row crop for a while now and found this gem yesterday. It basically runs and works but has several issues (apart from looking a little ugly). It has the IPTO, TA, and fast hitch. At the moment none of the gauges work (soon to be fixed), I want to relocate the battery to it's correct location (can anyone tell me how the battery cables are meant to be run?), the low side of the TA is out (I have a 300U for parts, can I swop the one from it in?). There are a couple of mysteries that I would like to sort out if anyone had any ideas. First the governor won't idle down properly unless you rev it all the way up and then slam the throttle shut. Secondly it has what sounds for all the world like diesel knock, though it seems to go away sometimes when using the hydraulics. It almost sounds like something rubbing against one of the fan blades. Once I start getting the mechanical stuff under control I'm going to swap the fenders for a set of clamshells and turn the rears around so they're dished out. Thanks, Sam
