Hello Alan, You could have a cracked block, a cracked cyl. head or a bad head gasket. I would suggest that you pull the valve cover, the oil pan and the manifolds.Drain the cooling system completely. Then pressurize the cooling system to 10 psi.(no more)! Take a good look at the top of the cyl. head, inside the ports and at the bottom of the cyl.'s Using some soapy water in a spray bottle saturate these areas. If there is a leak you will see bubbles forming. It would be best if you can leave the pressure on for at least a couple of hours. If the antifreeze is leaking around the pistons, then pull the cyl head and go to your local welding supply store and buy some Red Dye Penetrant for detecting cracks. They will know what you need.
