I need your opinion. I don't get out around the Farmall circles like I should, but here's what I need to know. I have a fella that I'm going to make up an underslung or bottom exhaust system for his Cub tractor. He tells me I can make hundreds of them as everyone needs them. I make exhaust components out of top quality 304 stainless for all colors of tractors and a system as such runs considerably more expensive that a tin exhaust, but lasts a lifetime. With the economy in the condition it is and the tooling costs involved, my question is, Is there really that much demand for this type of exhaust? I can likely recover the tooling cost in the first 10 systems. But the bottom line is, will there be a demand for these down the road? What do you think?
