We have 12.75 V when the tractor is off at the battery. When we run the tractor it reads on a tester that we have over 15v BUT the guage is pegged to the charge side. We tried another guage and it acted the same way...pegged. We tested the regulator using a test light and the battery and we had continuity. When we disconnect one wire from the regulator while the tractor is running the guage reads (what we feel) is a normal discharge rate. As soon as that wire is replaced the needle is pegged and you can hear a slight laboring of the engine. Any other thoughts or questions? I will google your above selection.
