We called them "hippies" in the 60's and 70's. The article said they netted $8,000. That is poverty level. Wonder if they are on welfare and food stamps also.
I mean this is great if that's what floats your boat. But USA today trys to make it sound like this is the future of agriculture.
These are just college kids who want to try the commune life style and not have to hold down a real job.

I have a brother that cant hold down a real job, grows his own pot. Now has graduated up to a little plastic green house and is selling sweet potatoes.
