So. if I can do a little wiring magic & get the engine running, I would assume I could do some kind of trouble shooting of the alt, or am I removing it & taking it apart (aw, criminey, I gotta dig out the met wrenches!!)? I figure if I can get the engine running, I'll test a few gennies as well. Just in case. I figure if I have an open bracket & empty pulley, why not? - Mike
