Gee, thanks for that extra tidbit, Mike! I have seen several comments on the importance of a cool-down on the International diesels but thought it simply meant to let the machine idle in diesel mode. Cooling down in gas mode would drop the compression, and maybe even out the temp in the head by allowing combustion in the "cul-de-sac".
