Not long ago several of you remarked on the short life your voltage regulator enjoyed. Well I joined the club. Have been chasing every other link in the charging chain on my SHII. Mr records indicated new one installed June 07. But someone was peddling them on ebay for 25 bucks so I got one. Installed today and ammeter jumped right up there ot around 15 amps. Mine was purchased at TSC, Made in USA on label. MFR number VR1814 IHC121578C1, Label only says "Replacementparts-Accessories " Maybe if enough of us complain they can make a better product.
