to add to what pete said, some of the other problems i ran into on my h carb, the float was a little crooked in the carb and would catch on the side of the bowl, also, check to see that the cross pin that holds the float in stays in the bracket. also, check the bowl gasket, i had one that was a little too wide and stuck into the bowl and would hang up on the float. for a simple carb, that lil rascal will make ya pull yer hair out!!!
