The quality of carb kits are getting worse. Even with a new needle & seat its tough to get them to stop from dripping. It seems to me the hole in the seat used to be tapered a little. Now there is just a hole drilled in. We used Tisco kits for years, but I'm about fed up with them. Poor instructions and very few parts in kit. The gaskets are usually shrunk. Those die cast bowls are a pain. Usually warped some and tough to get screws and jets out. Allis used the same kind of setup for awhile. I suppose the companies just bought from whover was cheaper that year.
