Ron: My suggestion was and still is, maybe it got changed before you bought the tractor. Those sealed bearing hubs have been around for about 15 years now.
Couple that with the fact you can't find the fill port for oil, just maybe you have the new replacement. Any fan hub I've ever looked at, and I've looked at a lot of them, that fill plug was very obvious. If you don't have the plug, it's got to be some other type. Just my reasoning.
