The big terminal with 10gauge wire should go to the amp meter. It connects to the side not connected to the battery. The # 2 terminal Connects to the big terminal with a spade connector, and a ring connector (very short wire) The #1 terminal connects to one side (Terminal)of an idiot light It needs to be a parking light bulb, not LED. The other side of the (terminal) lamp goes to the ignition switch terminal that goes to the ignition resistor, or coil (which ever). No part of the lamp is grounded. The light bulb can be replaced with a 3 amp 150piv diode from Radio Shack. The band (painted) end of the diode goes toward the alternator. Good luck, JimN
