If it creeps out of the gear under load, it will more than likely require a new gear set, drive and driven, to keep it from happening. It is also a symptom of worn intermediate bearings (and maybe others) that align the gear teeth incorrectly. Check all bearings as a matter of practicality if it gets pulled down t fix it. JimN
