For many years we've depended on both 2 cyl Deere and lettered Farmall's to pull wagon sets at the Xmas tree farm every December. We currently run a total of 4 Deere and 2 Farmalls. Which is better? Here's a user's perspective:
Advantages of the Deere:
1 - Unaffected by carb icing in cold, rainy weather
2 - Good brakes - though the pedals are awkwardly placed, the independent brake locks are nice.
3 - Customers LOVE the 2 cyl exhaust note. And most city folk recognize a JD tractor when they hear one... See post above for Farmall advantages...
