I have a '58 460, the rear rims were definitely galvanized, under the incorrect red paint the previous owner used (front wheels are one piece stamped steel painted red) My 53 Super H had front and rear galvanized, as do my other 5 letter series. I have read that IH may have had painted rims from the supplier as early as the 350/450 series. The 460 shoots that down, unless they didn't do them all the same.
