JimB2, Thanks for the reply. I got a look at the 383 tractor this morning. The 4 glow plugs are wired in series with heavy single strand uninsulated wires. A black wire from the ignition switch goes to the rear glow plug and has 12 volts on it when it is disconnected from the rear glow plug when the ignition switch is in a position which I assume is the glow plug on position. The front glow plug is grounded to complete the series circuit. I need to get back to the tractor and see what the voltages are at each glow plug. The glow plugs have a .9 volts stamped on them. Lynn
