When the tractor is not running the position control lever will move back and forth so the linkage is not jammed, thanks for the suggestion though. It almost seems like the valve is stuck in the raise position but I really dont know for sure. After the tractor is off for a while and the 3 pt settles back down, if I close the flow diverter and start the tractor the 3 pt will not come up unless I open the flow diverter of course. I guess it is also worth mentioning that not only does it raise up but it keeps on wanting to raise,you can hear the pump going to relief so this is why I am thinking the valve is stuck.
