Big Mike, it sounds like you're into a restoration, and I'd do the same thing if I were you - replace the entire harness with the right thing. The reason I'm going cheap is cause that's the kind of guy I am, and not only that, I'm still working this ol' '45 on my small 3 acre patch to keep the pasture from getting out of hand in the summer and snow off the driveway in winter. Someday I just might get up the ambition to do a complete resto, cause these ol' A's are so damn cute you just need to keep 'em goin. I want to put my first grandson on mine and show him how things were done a few years ago (granddaughter would do just fine - either one - if my boys someday would stop messin' around and settle down - no rush ;>)).
