good news is that if you ever make it to central Iowa, tell your nephew ill give him a radiator. The tanks are good but it will need core work.
the bad news is that ive found only a handful of shops are still actually capable of trying to repair those cores. most are NOT fixable due to the fragility of all the soldered joints and seams. I hae found through the years of wasting my time to try and fix them its just easier and more cost effective in the long run to buy a NEW core for them. they are still available, but will be around 300 dollars. I can get you the number of the place i get them from if you'd like
