Hey, thanks for the reply that's what I was looking for, someone that had the practical experience. The angle iron welded together was strong enough for cultivating, I just didn't know what would be considered strong enough, you know, what would work. I like the ubolt clamp design idea and ,yes, I'm with you on the backing plate, I know what's going on there. I'm still in the design process and haven't actually hung any iron on the tractor yet. I'll write in as soon as I get something put together. The hydraulic lift cylinder placement will be a challenge. bjr
