FOR the record...as a SMTA owner who has never had to actually do anything to it because it is the best running tractor I own, I found your pictures fascinating. I have never seen the underside of the deck on one. The pin that holds my shifter sometimes slides out and I have to line it up and get it back together. I can see some of that thru the hole while I line things up but never saw it from that perspective. I spent a fair amount of time looking over those pictures this AM and appreciate your time posting them.
