Most buzz saws I've used/saw have a belt tensioner or weighted pully to keep it tight. If you have no tensioner I would make the belt tight so it can not be slid on easly. You may have to roll the pulleys a little to get the belt on. Most drive pulleys have a adjuster, probley a bolt in a sloted hole. You may need to use belt dressing, I use weatherstipping glue. Just a few stips the short way will do. Good luck Kevin
