First off go to the IH dealer and replace the glass bowls with the new kits that have the spin on fuel filters,I did this recently and have much better performance, the glass bowl are just to delicate, and then run the fuel out of the tanks into five gallon buckets and then REMOVE the tank valves at the bottom and flush out the tanks with water and let them drain and replace with fresh diesel and all will be well.
