The picture was taken at our Thresherman's association in Dalton, Mn. The boom you see is called a stiff legged crane, and we use it at the show to lift and move whole trees to send to the steam powered sawmill. Our show is always the weekend following Labor Day, so if you ever need something to do that weekend, come on up and say hi! I am the guy who runs the PTO and Belt Pulley Dyno tests...
