When you step on the clutch pedal, it will release both the engine clutch and the TA clutch, if they are adjusted properly. Yours is most likely not releasing the TA clutch completely. Due to age and wear, you may need to adjust the TA linkage to different specfications than what you find in the manual. Continue to adjust until it shifts properly. SDE
