the common misconception was that the H was to relace the F-20, and the M to replace the F-30. In reality the M was the predecessor to the F-20, and the F-30 essentially went on to nothing. The W9 replaced the W-40.
A good running F-20 with 5K or 8K pistons in it will run right along a stock M. An F-30 would put a good hurtin on even a super M.
please keep in mind these machines developed power in a completely different way. H's and M's were designed to get HP from RPM's where the 20's and 30's relied on old technology of lugability with big flywheels, IE inertia.
Id rather run an F-20 or F-30 any day of the week 8)
