Don't give up on the fast hitch! I would think that it could be rebuilt for less than $150. I drilled the threads out of the right draw socket and made a new I-bolt and spot-welded the nut on it so that it can swivel as the hitch goes up and down. This took all the side to side play out. I too never saw the need for draft control as I did not want the plow running shallow in tough ground. I was more interested in holding my depth and would rather downshift for the tough spots. Also I like down pressure on the hitch for yard work. Don't give up the fast hitch without a fight!! Armand
