If the nut is not frooze up, Make something or put something that will fit in one of notches on nut and wedge agian one of the drive pins and turn fan in normal direction. Nut may be screwed in all the way already though. Another thing I do sometimes if I have fan and parts off and nut notches are messed up, is grind a flat on 2 sides of packing nut to the size of a thin wrench I have. If tightening is needed I put wrench in between drive lugs and turn fan.
