Myself i think a 14.9x38 is a nice looking tire as the 15.5x38 is a short sided tire and they both need a 14 inch wide rim . I have split many rims and added a band to them and the 12 inch rim is easy to do . I myself made the mistake of putting 16.9x38's on my S/MTA just to go play with the boys . after i did it i hated the way it looked . One of these days i am going to pull them off and put the 14.9's on.
