I have a 1973, 4-door, 2WD 1210 Custom with a 392 cid engine. I've put a few thousand dollars into it in recent years, but I use it to pull a 25' boat (and occasionally an IH300 Utlity on a trailer) It rides well and has good traction, only because I keep about 1000# of cement blocks in the bed. It runs great, pulls well, and is reliable. However, I only get about 8-10 mpg.
