ONAN Twin cylinder engine ignition coil

I have to replace an ignition coil mounted on ONAN twin cyl. engine without high voltage distributor (CASE 446 tractor ).
This coil (not available in France)has an insulated secondary winding with 2 high volt. outputs directly linked to the 2 spark plugs.
The primary is more normal(4.3 ohms), as are the contact breaker and the capacitor.
My question is: can I replace this special ignition coil by 2 std coils (12v) in parallel, switched by the same contact breaker, assuming that the breaker points withstand the double current???
