She's alive! Took 2 days, and about $200 worth of parts, but she's worth it. By the way, anyone know how to tighten the play in the steering? The wheel goes about 1/2 turn before any action on the front end.
It makes me happy to save one from the boneyard or the fence row. This one's a 1945, it's got a good battery box, good tool box, and the hand crank is still there, even the clip that holds it against the clutch housing. The only thing missing is the headlights, but I'll find some. She runs o.k., but she needs a good tune-up and valve adjustment.
