IHStandardMan, you'll find that tractor guys are absolutely nuts when it comes to correctness. Way worse than car guys. There are entire shows dedicated to making abominations out of rare restorable classic cars, but a custom tractor? Blasphemy!
If you really want to do it, it's pretty simple.
A "period-correct" Super HTA would be made by mating a 1954 Super H front half to a 1954 Farmall 300 rear half at the bell housing. Everything bolts together because the 300 shares the same basic chassis design.
Your biggest challenges will be in mounting the H's steering post and gas tank.
However, Stage II Super Hs are the second most popular letter series after the Super MTA. It's getting tough to find one that wouldn't break your heart to use as a donor tractor.
