I paid about that for the parts for mine. Bought it off the net somewhere. I'm a pretty slim guy and the backrest is already pushed way back. I'm going to have to weld up bracing to tie the seat back into the arm rests before spring. Next time I'd be tempted to go with a non-original looking seat that was all one piece (if they can be adapted easily.)
