I looked at the archives some and found use the oil to break in the motor that you plan on using all the time. Now to get technical. What sort of blend should I use. a 5W30 like in my car and truck or should I use a Rotella 15W40 like in my MD. This H wont be used for alot of heavy work(for now), mainly hauling a trailer with firewood and taking on tractor cruises. My usual brand of motor oil is Valvoline. Never any problems and that was what I was raised on. Please tell me what you think. Brad
