Went out to feed the cows yesterday, and in his hurry to get that one flake of alfalfa that was juuuust barely out of reach, he got his head stuck between the bars on the outside of the feeder, and the ones that angle down inside. He was still breathing fine, so I left him hopin he'd sort it out himself. Well, after a few hours he was still there. Tried pushin his head down where the space was wider... no luck... Went back just before dark, he was gettin a little fussy, and decided I'd better help him out. Tried picking up the feeder with the loader to help, no luck. Ended up dragging the generator and sawzall out and cuttin the bar off. He was glad to be out, none the worse for wear, but a bit thirsty. He wasn't first in line at the feeder this morning.
