Gidday, by memory I had to take a fair bit of gear off. I had trouble getting the levers off the speed amplifier and throttle shafts so had to take the whole cowelling and all off in one piece in order to get at everything. I seem to remember taking off the fuel tank as well. Then i think there were the four bolts holding on the box. You may be able to get away with leaving the box on the tractor frame and pulling the guts out of it there, but i prefer to work on the bench. hope that helps, email me at home if you wish.
