Mike, I've done that job myself. You are going to be drilling a big hole and I found it tricky even with the drive off. Trick is getting it level before sinking the bottoming drill in. I used a home style drill press, nothing too fancy. You can buy a kit that comes with the bit, tap, and heli-coil size you wish to insert. Works like a charm. Which side are you doing?
