Hello everybody! I just recently bought a 1940 farmall A to add to the collection, runs great, etc. 600 bucks couldnt beat it..It came with the front cultivating frame, hand-lift and hand adjustment (levels up and down) no shovels or shanks (no problem) but it is missing the whole rear set up. I"m assuming it consists of the rockshaft, rockshaft bar to hand-lift, and the actual bars that shootout behind the rear tires. Does anybody have any pictures or can tell me of a rear set up so I can see what it looks like? Also was looking around on ebay and found a rockshaft for a super A..is it the same as the A? heres the url:
Ive just recently got into old farmalls (after old deeres) after buying this one. Grew up cultivating tobacco with a 140, but am not sure about the hand-lift stuff before hydraulics. Is there any other model farmall I can supplement for this rear set up? Thanks in advance!
