The best thing to do is get a set of ear plugs.That works in my 966.The guy that took the doors off in the summer is right, it is quieter.Also it is much cooler.When you put all the extra padding & that around every thing it makes it harder to work on & sometimes it falls down & makes it shift wrong or with stuff under the platform it could stop the park brake from fully engaging.Just my experence.
